"I'm mad!"

So Tim told Drew he couldn't watch another tv program last night and Drew came to me and said "I'm mad". It was really kind of cute. Lately, he has started holding grudges (very short-lived) when he is mad. Today, at Costco, he wanted a Thomas the Train DVD and my brother helped me deal with Drew's tantrum by holding him while he was writhing and screaming trying to make his way back to the DVD section. When my brother and I were parting ways, Rian tried to give Drew hugs and kisses and Drew just turned his head. He was holding a grudge, I guess!

I'm not sure who coined the phrase Terrible 2's... The closer Drew gets to 3, the worse it gets. He was such a sweet 1 and 2 year old. Within the last couple of months it has been getting worse and worse. He started pre-school last week so I hope that will help. He really likes his teacher. She said he gets upset if she leaves him during pick up time to take another child to his parent. I was in line to pick him up yesterday and watched him following her from car to car and wondered what was going on.

He is such a sweet boy! I agree, the older they get, the worse it gets. Olivia has also gotten much harder to deal with. Plus, they just get smarter and more cunning about how they do things!

Kami, I'm so glad you are doing this! What a wonderful way to keep these stories for the boys. I kept journals and wrote down lots of things about what was going on with my five boys and they kinda get a kick out of hearing about them, especially Dustin and Jesse who now have boys of their own!
Give my love to my grandnephews Drew and Davis and my love to my nephew Tim. And here's my love to you---Aunt Vicki
